Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents The Lowdown: An Unexpected Night of Seattle Dance Performance at The Moore Theatre on Friday, February 11th at 8pm. The Lowdown features AmyO/tinyrage with The Can Can Castaways and Circle of Fire/Soulshifters in an unforgettable night of Seattle dance performance.

Unlike traditional dance performance, The Lowdown is structured more like a rock concert, complete with DJs WD4D and PotatoFinger keeping the night on lockdown. Headlining is Amy O'Neal's new creative entity, AmyO/tinyrage, premiering a new work of her sinuous mix of hip-hop and modern dance titled, "Again, No Excuses". The piece, set to an original score by PotatoFinger, ruminates on ideas of the modern warrior with a dynamic cast of diverse movers and shakers.

Opening the evening are The Can Can Castaways with choreographer Rainbow Fletchers' brand of sexy sharp underground modern dance burlesque. Soulshifters follow and are comprised of Circle of Fire members, including, Dufon ORB Smith, MOZES Lateef Saleem and Alfredo FREE Vergara. Known worldwide for their undeniably unique b-boy/b-girl skills, the Soulshifters performance will showcase union between dancer and instrument.

Concluding the show, audience and performers unite in an all-ages after-dance party, featuring beats by DJ WD4D and PotatoFinger, held in the lobby of the historic Moore Theatre. Tom Douglas concessions available for purchase and the basement bar will be 21+ with beverage service.

Tickets: Tickets include the after-dance party and are $24.00, not including fees and are on sale now. Purchase tickets online through www.STGpresents.org, by phone at (877) 784-4849, in person, service charge-free at The Paramount Theatre box office Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm, and The Paramount and Moore Theatre venue kiosks, 24-hours a day, seven days a week, powered by Tickets.com.
