"The new record, Circuital, is named after the title song," explains Jim James, of My Morning Jacket's sixth studio album. "On that song I sing about ending up in the same place where you started out. And that makes a lot of sense for this album... I hate the phrase 'going back to our roots', but for this record we came home and made it in Kentucky. And it just felt a lot like it did when we were first starting out..." Martine adds, "This is truly a great band, and they play so well together, it would be wrong not to document that,". For James, the new album finds a sweet understanding between the questing creative impulses of Evil Urges and the more familiar feel of My Morning Jacket's earlier work. "The album's like a rolling, gentle soundwave," he says, in comparison to Evil Urges' jagged edges. "But I don't feel Circuital sounds like our earlier recordings. We're always trying to go in new directions." His memories of the sessions for Circuital are only fond. "There was no AC, no-one had their laptops. We recorded everything on tape. It was like, we're just who we are, with what we have with us at the moment, and that's all we have. It was a beautiful thing, and it really cemented what we all mean to each other, as people and as a band. We've learned, slowly over the years, how to function more healthily, I guess, so we don't all combust. Making this record, it felt like our friendship was only strengthened."

My Morning Jacket's "Spontaneous Curation Series" will let fan club members and concert goers assist them in curating each night's set list through Twitter in Seattle. Follow @mymorningjacket for further details and announcements on how to participate in the "Spontaneous Curation Series."

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros formed in Los Angeles in 2007. They released their debut album, Up From Below, in July 2009 on Community Music. The album has sold over 275,000 copies in the US, and charted on iTunes for 69 straight weeks. With its unique and universal appeal, their hit single "Home" soared to over 775,000 downloads. After intensive touring throughout 2009-2011, including hit appearances at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Coachella, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have proven themselves to be a touring force to be reckoned with. In March 2011, the troupe's lead singer Alex Ebert released his solo debut album, Alexander, on Community Music, which was written and recorded during breaks from being on tour as a part of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. The album includes ten brand new songs that Alexander wrote and played entirely himself. In April 2011, the band embarked on the "Railroad Revival Tour" with Mumford & Sons and Old Crow Medicine Show where the band traveled exclusively in vintage railcars across the American Southwest for a week and played concerts at unique outdoor locations along the route. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros actively support Water Wells For Africa, Charity Water, APJ Now, Hope Campaign and Voice Project. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros released their second studio album on Community Music / Vagrant Records on May 29, 2012.
