Bainbridge Performing Art's 2014 - 2015 season opener is LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a household name, thanks to a highly successful film version and a score by the songwriting team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS never fails to entertain.

Director Tim Davidson crosses the footlights to direct the show he starred in nearly a decade ago. Having played Seymour in BPA's October 2005 production, Davidson finds the change of roles both exhilarating and challenging, saying, "It's been nine years since I played the part, but I still tend to look up when someone says 'Seymour.' The trick is in finding a way to make this production my own, without throwing out an idea just because it's what we did the last time. It could still be the best choice even all these years later. Fortunately, Josh, Joanna and the cast are so fresh and innovative that such worries tend to fade as soon as I arrive at rehearsal."

BPA's Resident Musical Director Josh Anderson says, "This deviously delicious sci-fi smash hit musical features a rock-inspired score that devours the conventions of 60's sci-fi music!" Choreographer Joanna Hardie joins direction of a stellar cast of BPA veterans and newcomers featuring Ryan Bohannon as SEYMOUR, Alex Davis-Brazill as AUDREY, Shannon Dowling as RONETTE, Michelle Abad as CRYSTAL, Shani King as CHIFFON, Rodney Sherwood as ORIN SCRIVELLO, DDS, Mark Soltys as THE PLANT, Nelsen Spickard as MUSHNIK, and Ken Michels as the PLANT PUPPETEER.
