Bainbridge Performing Arts has announced the appointment of Josh Anderson - previously a music director, performer, and Director of Education at Bainbridge Performing Arts - to the new position of Resident Musical Director for the 2014-2015 season. In this capacity, he will collaborate with Mainstage Directors Tim Davidson, Ken Michels, and Joanna Hardie fashioning the fantastic work that BPA audiences have come to expect. Additionally, he'll take the helm next February when he directs Side by Side by Sondheim.

Josh Anderson is thrilled with this new role at BPA. A tireless advocate for "America's great indigenous art form," Anderson has been involved in countless productions in various capacities, and he is wildly enthusiastic about the ability of musical theatre to both draw a community together and entertain.

Executive Director Dominique Cantwell notes that BPA is equally thrilled at the new arrangement, saying, "Josh is such a wonderfully skilled musician and we're proud to feature him in this new role at BPA - audiences and performers are in for a real treat!"

Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) is a non-profit community performing arts center including a theater, a symphony orchestra, a variety of comedy, dance, musical, and other performances, and theater education programs for children, teenagers, and adults. A combination of hit shows, stellar on-stage performers, and gifted behind-the-scenes artists yielded rave reviews this season, and BPA's 2014 - 2015 lineup is bursting with entertainment options to please audience members from all walks of life.
