ACT's Mainstage season continues with the Seattle premiere of David Rambo's irresistible portrait of renowned advice columnist Ann Landers in THE LADY WITH ALL THE ANSWERS, Friday, September 10th to Sunday, October 31st. Tickets range from $37.50 to $55 with discounts for students and audience members under 25. Evening performances on Tuesdays through Thursdays and Sundays are at 7:30PM and on Fridays and Saturdays are at 8PM. Matinees performances on Saturdays and Sundays are at 2PM.

Directed by Valerie Curtis-Newton (Fathers and Sons, The Mojo and the Sayso), THE LADY WITH ALL THE ANSWERS takes place in 1975, 20 years after Eppie Lederer (Julie Briskman) took over the Ann Landers advice column that changed the social landscape of the last half-century and made her "America's Therapist". While struggling to write the most difficult column of her life, Ann Landers breaks down the fourth wall and shares some of her favorite letters and memories with us - representatives for her 60 million readers. Since its 2005 debut at the Old Globe in San Diego, THE LADY WITH ALL THE ANSWERS has been mounted in more than 50 regional productions, including an off-Broadway production at the Cherry Lane Theatre that earned star Judith Ivey a Drama Desk and Lortel nomination for her portrayal of Ann Landers.

Audience members are invited on Tuesdays, September 14th and 21st at 6PM for a behind-the-scenes chat with ACT artistic director, Kurt Beattie, and members of the ACT's artistic team. The September 14 event is hosted by KING FM with delicious bites provided by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering. There will be post play discussions on September 21st, 26th, and 28th as well as October 3rd and 17th. On Friday, September 24th, at 6:30PM, enjoy beers, wines, and beverages from around the world, paired with local artisan foods-all matched to fit the theme of the mainstage productions! Keith Johnsen, host of last year's Beer Tastings, will search his vast collection of spirits, as well as the bountiful variety of local markets, to procure the perfect show-themed treats. This event is free.
