    Punts is a hilarious and moving new play by Sarah Page about a young man's sexual awakening and its effect on those who orchestrated it. Drawn from the playwright's interviews with sex workers, Punts - produced by Kuleshov Theatre (BU21, Cans) - explores love in all its complex and contradictory forms.

    Christopher Hampton's 1969 take on Moliere's The Misanthrope is often played with actors older than their characters, but director Simon Callow has recruited some of TV's bright young things to play the solipsistic academics. It may well attract new audiences to The West End, but this uncomfortable revival is unlikely to capitalise on that influx.

    Rehearsals began today (24 April 2017) for The West End production of Annie at the Piccadilly Theatre. Joining the previously announced Miranda Hart who will play Miss Hannigan are Alex Bourne as Daddy Warbucks, Holly Dale Spencer as Grace Farrell, Jonny Fines as Rooster and Djalenga Scott as Lily.

    Seventeen year old Ben Thomas from Swansea is the 2017 Welsh Musical Theatre Young Singer Of The Year. He was awarded the coveted title by Judges Vivien Care, Claire Hammacott and Michael Morwood after a very high standard contest against Kate McKeown, Lynwen Haf Roberts and Grace-Marie Wyatt - all of whom were accompanied by virtuoso pianist, Jeffrey Howard.
