As we forge our future in a world plagued with decreasing faith in establishment and hyper-scrutiny toward marginalized communities, we look to use theatre as a tool to spread awareness of oft-ignored social problems. Our programming for our fourth inaugural season focuses on the importance of overcoming adversity, the fragility of mental health and the danger of repressed emotions.
Broadway's ANASTASIA to Fly Painted Wings Across the Pond?

The producers of the new musical, ANASTASIA, are pleased to announce plans for international productions of the hit musical across Europe, Asia, United Kingdom, Australia and South America. The list of international markets with plans underway for ANASTASIA include Germany, Holland Spain, Russia, Korea, Japan, Mexico, China and more to be announced. Plans for a North American tour are also underway. A confirmed production timeline will be announced soon.

Jonathan Roxmouth (Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), one of the biggest names in South African theatre, stars with the inimitable Weslee Swain Lauder (Sweeney Todd, Janice Honeyman's Peter Pan, Starlight Express) in THE MYSTERY of Irma Vep as they have never been seen before! The acclaimed play is conceived and written by Charles Ludlum, directed by Elizma Badenhorst (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, I Love you, You're perfect, Now Change) with an original score by Wessel Odendaal.

The cast of the new Off-Broadway musical Attack of the Elvis Impersonators, the zany new musical that will leave you howling for more, with book, music and lyrics by Lory Lazarus, at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th & 10th Avenues) welcomed Elvis Impersonators to the show, now in performance through September 24, 2017. Bruce Kimmel wrote, directed and starred in the cult movie hit, "The First Nudie Musical."  He also co-created the story for the hit film, "The Faculty," directed by Robert Rodriguez.  As an actor, Mr. Kimmel guest-starred on most of the long-running television shows of the 1970s.    Mr. Kimmel is a legendary Grammy-nominated producer of theatre music on CD, having produced over 180 albums. Most recently he has directed the shows L.A. Now and Then, Hit Song, The Musical, Welcome to My World, Li'l Abner, and Inside Out.  Mr. Kimmel is the author of seventeen books, many musicals, and is an award-winning songwriter. Bruce Kimmel serves as director on the Group Rep's upcoming production of Frederick Knott's mystery thriller Dial "M" for Murder which opens on the Main Stage, June 30th, at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood at the edge of the NoHo Arts District.  Written by Steve Peterson

In the first season of GHOSTS OF SHEPHERDSTOWN, a surge of 911 calls reporting what appeared to be supernatural activity in Shepherdstown, W.V., inspired Police Chief Michael King to enlist the help of paranormal investigators to figure out why the town had become such a hotbed for hauntings. Nick Groff, Bill Hartley, and Elizabeth Saint, with the help of local historian Dana Mitchell and psychic medium Lorie Johnson, uncovered clues linking the rash of mysterious incidents to Shepherdstown's historic waterways and a woman murdered on accusations of witchcraft in the town's early history.
