Producer Cameron Mackintosh is bringing back this legendary musical to the Great White Way together with an exciting new cast led by Jon Jon Briones (The Engineer), Alistair Brammer (Chris), Rachelle Ann Go (Gigi), Devin Ilaw (Thuy), Katie Rose Clarke (Ellen), Nicholas Christopher (John), and Eva Noblezada (Kim).
BWW Review: Carmen Cusack Shares Her Remarkable Story with Feinstein's/54 Below, Showcasing the Unmatched Versatility Which Brought Her to Broadway
Aug 12, 2016
'At last, at last, at long last.' These are the lyrics which ushered in the emotional climax of Broadway's Bright Star, the North Carolina-set musical which burned fast and, well, bright this past season on Broadway. So, too, did these lyrics close out the solo concert debut of the musical's incandescent star, Carmen Cusack, at Feinstein's/54 Below on August 9. Fittingly so. This time last year, Cusack was little known in New York, having established herself as a bona fide star in the West End, as well as regionally in touring productions of Wicked and South Pacific. Cut to the summer of 2016, though, and Cusack has made one of the most celebrated Broadway debuts in memory and was Tony-nominated in this year's Actress in a Leading Role category (the same one deemed too full for Audra McDonald). It is no wonder, then, Cusack wasted no time capitalizing on her newfound cachet, booking three concerts at Broadway's supper club, before swiftly adding a fourth due to demand.

BWW Review: Buoyant ANYTHING GOES Docks in Orlando
May 27, 2015
Beloved theatre standards, tap-dancing sailors, chorines in sequins, a farcically silly plot; what more could you want from a Cole Porter musical? After winning three Tony Awards in 2012, including Best Revival of a Musical, the National Tour of ANYTHING GOES ends its delightfully giddy run at Orlando's Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts this week, concluding on Sunday, May 31st. This non-Equity tour boasts Kathleen Marshall's direction and choreography, the latter of which earned her a third Tony. A joyful celebration of old-fashioned musical theatre, the delightful cast will leave you with a smile on your face, but this ANYTHING GOES lacks the sharpness and playfulness to make you fall out of your seat laughing and/or cheering, which most certainly can happen when this classic is at its best.
