    New Adaptation of GREAT EXPECTATIONS Heads to Everyman Theatre's Stage

    Everyman Theatre brings Charles Dickens' classic novel to the stage in a dynamic adaptation by Gale Childs Daly. Hailed as "tight and suspenseful" by the Chicago Tribune, Daly's adaptation of Great Expectations masterfully condenses Dickens 500-page novel into a high-spirited play where only six actors portray more than 35 characters. The show is currently in rehearsal and runs from February 1 through March 5, 2017.

    The culmination of Everyman Theatre's 25th Anniversary begins this spring with the highly anticipated 'Great American Rep.' The Rep unites two iconic masterpieces and marks the first time Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman and Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire have ever been produced as a rotating rep, where one virtuosic cast featuring 8 resident company members performs multiple roles and transform night after night.

    Carnegie Hall presents the renowned Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) led by Music Director Andris Nelsons in three concerts this October. The orchestra's series this season begins today, October 20 at 8:00 p.m. with the New York premiere of Sebastian Currier's Divisions. Acclaimed pianist Paul Lewis is guest soloist in Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Minor, Op. 37 and the BSO and Mr. Nelsons conclude with a performance of Brahms's Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Op. 73.
