F*It Club, the New York Innovative Award-winning film and theatre company, continues its annual series of short, commissioned world-premiere plays at the IRT Theater as part of their 3B Development Series in Manhattan's West Village with The Spring Fling: Anniversary, six new short plays by Jon Caren (The Recommendation), Matthew-Lee Erlbach (Eager To Lose), Elizabeth Irwin (My Mañana Comes), Erica Saleh (In Memory of Julie Simmons), Sarah Sander (Playgrounds), and Daniel Talbott (Slipping).

Rising Phoenix Repertory, Weathervane Productions, and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater present the world premiere of Thieves, written by Charlotte Miller and directed by Daniel Talbott, at the Monroe Forum Theatre at the El Portal in North Hollywood. Thieves tells the story of a dysfunctional family in East Texas that descends into chaos when their matriarch dies. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and Women's Project Theater present the world premiere of The Undeniable Sound of Right Now, written by Laura Eason (S e x with Strangers,'House of Cards') and directed by Kirsten Kelly (Slipping), beginning tonight, March 19 at 7pm at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South. Opening night is set for Thursday, April 2 at 7pm. The production is set to run through Saturday, May 2.

Bridge Street Theatre's 2015 Season to Feature LARK EDEN, GRAY & More

While it has only been open to the public since April of 2014, and fund-raising efforts to complete the conversion of its 72-seat Mainstage space continue, Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre has already proven itself to be a vital part of our region's cultural life. Housed in the old Curtron Factory Building at 44 West Bridge Street, just across Catskill Creek from Main Street, it has been presenting surprising new events almost every weekend - theater, magic acts, cabaret performances, classical, jazz, folk, bluegrass, and jug band concerts, art installations, a Haunted House, even a celebrity appearance by actress Patty Duke - and bringing new life (and foot traffic) to Catskill's West Bridge Street Corridor.

After the critical success of its recent Lucille Lortel Award winning Off-Broadway production of Martin Moran's All the Rage (produced with piece by piece productions), acclaimed new play company Rising Phoenix Repertory presents the world premiere of RPR Company Member Sarah Shaefer's new play F**king Immaculate. Building on the company's successful downtown site-specific play series Cino Nights, Rising Phoenix Rep is attempting to grow and expand on its innovative development/production process for new plays, building in a longer rehearsal period and focusing on an even more intimate and immersive experience for artists and audiences alike. The plays will be staged in an Upper West Side apartment to be disclosed to patrons who make reservations in advance. Seating is strictly limited to ten people per night.

A Queer Theater Company has announced a strictly limited run of their bare bones, developmental production of Daniel Talbott's new drama GRAY, featuring Chris Bellant (Fairfield), Will Pullen (Scarcity, Punk Rock), and Samantha Soule (Killers and Other Family, And I And Silence). The play will be staged for five bare bones performances only at the Susan Batson Studio--300 West 43rd Street, Room 510--January 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd, all at 2 p.m.

Rising Phoenix Repertory and Weathervane Productions have commissioned new plays from three female playwrights, which will each be produced over the next two seasons. Rising Phoenix Repertory's artistic director, Daniel Talbott, will direct all three plays. The first of the commissions onstage is Thieves by Charlotte Miller, making its world premiere at the Monroe Forum Theatre in North Hollywood, California, March 18, 2015 through April 4, 2015, co-produced by Rising Phoenix Repertory, Weathervane Productions and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.
