Tell us a bit about your show

Catherine and Anita is about a woman overcoming the obstacles in her life with the help of her best friend. It's a story about love, friendship and also the destruction that can be caused by unchecked childhood trauma.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

As well as being the best festival in the world, it's also a fantastic place to perform new work.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

It's by American writer, Derek Ahonen, who has never had his work shown in the UK before. His style of heartfelt gallows humour is very unique and I don't think Edinburgh audiences have seen anything like this before.

Who would you recommend comes to see your show?

Anyone that enjoys comedy in the midst of chaos.

Are there any other performances you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Last year the best thing I saw was a clown show so I'm looking forward to seeing some more of the weird and quirky stuff you don't normally get to see.

Timings and ticket information for Catherine and Anita are available on the edfringe website.
