Tell us a bit about A Drinking Game.
What up!? Do you like to Drink? Do you like Games? Then you're going to love this!
. Not fun enough? Fine. We do it with drinks in-hand! Each movie has a list of buzzwords and phrases. When one is spoken, a bell rings, and everybody drinks, including the actors. The actors also have to drink every time their character's name is said, so as you can imagine things get super fun as actors juggle scripts, props, beers, hats, dinosaurs, eagles, and an occasional Delorean. (Alcohol is encouraged, but not required, but if you don't drink, you're kind of weird. Just kidding! But seriously, it's in the title, so plan on drinking, unless you're in a 5 step program, then we support you, but you should probably not be here.) CHEERS!
What sort of shows can we expect?

Oh you know, just the 'ol Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Back to the Future, The Princess Bride, The Goonies, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

Why bring it to Edinburgh?
We want to bring ADGNYC to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the challenge and the reward of participating in one of the largest and most prestigious arts festivals in the world. We are very proud of what we have been working on over the past several years, and we love the power of these movies to bring people together in the name of laughter, nostalgia, and community. We are so excited to share our Brooklyn-based shenanigans with the Fringe audiences! Plus, we're all really big Harry Potter Fans. I took the quiz on Pottermore and was sorted into Hufflepuff, and I'm very proud of that.
What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
You won't find anything like this at the Fringe as it is both a show and a drinking game. I cannot stress enough how much we like to play with the audience-members including but not limited to: running through the audiences in a crazed chase, sitting on audience members' laps, breaking out into dance and song with them, making them characters, etcetera, etcetera.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?
Well. Obviously you must be of legal drinking age. On top of that, the show is appropriate for anyone who loves comedy, movies, theater, games, improvisation, laughter, and heavy nostalgia. Like, just so much nostalgia. If you know the movie and every single line in it, perfect, we love you. If you don't, perfect, we still love you (but seriously, who hasn't seen Back to the Future?).
