Tickets are now on sale for Kelrik Production's PINKALICIOUS, the Musical, playing April 11 - May 17 at the Monroe Forum Theatre @ El Portal Theatre, 5269 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood. Based on the 2006 New York Times best-selling children's book by Victoria and Elizabeth Kann,PINKALICIOUS, is the tale of a girl who can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite her parents' warnings about the dangers of over-indulgence. Her passion for pink lands her at the doctor's office with pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe -- a dream come true for this pink-loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure a way out of her predicament.

PINKALICIOUS is directed by Sheila Guerrero, musically directed Joshua Eli Kranz and choreographed by Samantha Marie. After last years Sold-Out performances, Kelrik is excited to bring PINKALICIOUS, our pink loving enthusiast, with a brand new Los Angeles cast to El Portal featuring Nicole Renee Chapman as the title role, Ryland Dodge and Antonio Ardolino as Peter, Brooke Griffin and Jason Chacon play Mr. & Mrs. Pinkerton with Lainie Pahos as Dr. Wink and Anne Marie Iniguez as Alison and Sarah Jessica Bennett as the Bee

According to Artistic Director Erik Austin, "Pinkalicious is not just a really funny musical; it teaches children valuable lessons about self control and the importance of moderation. As someone who has been passionate about theatre since I was a kid, I am thrilled that we can offer the central coast premiere of this new show in a fully realized stage production. It's a great opportunity to introduce young people to the magic of live theatre. You can't ask for more than that."

This fun-filled family show runs approximately one hour which makes it ideal for younger children. We feature a colorful cast of characters and audience participation/interaction. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Tickets to PINKALICIOUS, can be purchased online at www.elportaltheatre.com, by phone at (818) 508-4200. Please note the family-friendly performance schedule: Saturday matinees at 1PM and 3PM and Sunday matinees at 1PM. Ticket prices are $20 for children and $30 for adults.
