Following the success of the fifth FURY Factory Festival of Ensemble Performance, foolsFURY Theater Company is has announced the world premiere of Arriving Here Now: A Wandering Whimsy, a play Directed by Brian Livingston and Created by Elise Siegel, Grace Ng, and Brian Livingston. Arriving Here Now: A Wandering Whimsy is a free, interactive, and theatrical walking tour beginning at Golden Gate Park's Conservatory of Flowers and ending in the luscious Fuchsia Dell Gardens this weekend, September 13 and 14.

Debórah Eliezer, Co-Artistic Director of foolsFURY and the BRIDGE's Program Director states, "I can't think of a similar program being offered in ensemble theater for a company of our size. The need for these kinds of early-career mentorship opportunities is very high. I'm delighted with the caliber of talent this year."

Come join us for a performative stroll through nature peering in and participating with this urban natural wonder. Take a walking tour through shrubs and blossoms to often unseen miracles of nature. Look through new eyes at the world around you and begin to ARRIVE everywhere you are. Engage the multiple layers of history, as well as your own inner landscape. Come after your weekend garden party or before your dinner plans.

This performance marks the culmination of foolsFURY BRIDGE Apprenticeship. BRIDGE is the acronym for Building Relationships In Deliberate Group Ensemble. It's a program for early career theater artists to develop their artistic skills, learn how to manage a production, and premiere an original work.

FoolsFURY is dedicated to making their site-specific shows accessible and free to the public. Visit their Indie Go Go Campaign here: http://www.igg.me/at/wanderingwhimsy

"The process of getting the play from the page to the stage is really a group process."
- Casey Hudak, 2011 foolsFURY Apprentice, Playwriting

The BRIDGE Apprenticeship program was designed to bridge the journey from school to professional career in the theater. FoolsFURY identified focused, passionate, talented young artists in need of greater challenges and mentorship as they entered the professional theater world. This program provides hours of personal training, encouragement and skill-building, and creates a foundation for positive self-growth while developing a professional project from start to finish.

FoolsFURY is a San Francisco based performance ensemble. Named the city's "Best Theater Company" by the SF Weekly (2008) and awarded the SF Bay Guardian's GOLDIE award for outstanding local theater group, we place a premium on the creation process, spending longer periods developing our work than is the norm in mainstream American theater.

Our acclaimed productions include numerous original works and world premieres, as well as deconstructed classics. In recent years we have begun to focus on touring, in order to bring our work to a broader audience and take a greater role in the national dialogue about the future of theater.
