The Napa Valley Broadway Playhouse opens its 2012 debut season with Kander & Ebb's Cabaret, starring Broadway performer Nikki Snelson along with a cast of professional actors and dancers and local talent.

The scene is a night club in Berlin, as the 1920s are drawing to a close. The Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience to the show and assures them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at the Cabaret. Musical numbers include It Couldn't Please Me More, Willkommen, Cabaret, Don't Tell Mama and Two Ladies.

Matthew Teague Miller will direct with choreography by Lisa Clark-Schmeling and music direction by Diego Garcia. Actress Nicki Snelson, who appeared in the original Broadway cast of Legally Blonde as well as the MTV nationally televised broadcast, plays the embattled and incredible Sally Bowles.

The production also features Kherington Payne and Jordan Casanova from Television's So You Think You Can Dance and Jessica Dillan (Broadway's Cats and Thoroughly Modern Millie) as Kit Kat Girls and David Coolidge (Parade National Tour) as Cliff.

Other cast members include Kit Grimm (Shultz), Denise Elia-Yen (Kost), Barbara McFadden (Schieder), Tim Setzer (Ernst), Adria Swan (Helga), Hannah Davis (Fritzie), Kyle Stoner (Bobby), CJ Gormley (Victor) and Gianna DiGregorio, Michael Doppe, Michael Reardon and Matthew R King (Ensemble).
