WestBeth Entertainment & SF Sketchfest present Henson Alternative's PUPPET UP! - UNCENSORED, a night of hilarious uncensored mayhem featuring over 60 original Henson puppets brought to life by a cast of six world-class puppeteers of The Jim Henson Company in a night of off the cuff comedy. SHN is proud to be the official ticketing partner for Henson Alternative's PUPPET UP! - UNCENSORED.

Created by award-winning director, producer, and writer Brian Henson and actor, director, and improvisational guru Patrick Bristow (Ellen, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Whose Line Is It Anyway?), PUPPET UP! - UNCENSORED, formerly known as "Stuffed and Unstrung," will play a limited 10 performance engagement November 13-23 at the Marines' Memorial Theatre. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, October 3 at 10am.

PUPPET UP! - UNCENSORED is never the same show twice due to its improvisational nature, showcasing the wit, technique, and that trademark Henson dryness and sly anarchy. Expert puppeteers create twisted scenes and songs on the fly, as suggestions from the audience prompt the improvised story lines unfolding on stage. Unpredictable and irreverent, the outrageous and uninhibited PUPPET UP! - UNCENSORED is a wild romp in which the skilled art of puppetry and spontaneous comedy collide as the fearless puppeteers set loose live onstage to explore the art of improvisational comedy.

After just the first few moments of watching and interacting with the puppets of PUPPET UP! - UNCENSORED, you'll realize this is no ordinary puppet show. The production delivers two-shows-in-one of improvised Henson puppetry. The hilarious puppet action is projected live on large screens flanking the stage, while the puppeteers race around below displaying their skills in full view of the audience. With live musical accompaniment and Patrick Bristow as host, this 'psychotic puppet party' also features a few recreations of classic pieces originally created by Jim Henson, Jane Henson, and Frank Oz that haven't been seen by live audiences in decades.

In 2011, SF Gate said the show "combines the magic of first-rate Henson-style puppetry and the joy of ribald comedy with a fascinating and endlessly entertaining, bifurcated look at how TV puppetry works." The SF Examiner called the show, "A wee bit naughty! Every performance has belly laughs if not falling-in-the-aisle hysteria."

Back by popular demand, PUPPET UP! - UNCENSORED is for adults only.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 3 at 10am through shnsf.com and SHN Audience Services at 888-746-1799. Tickets range from $40-$50. Prices are subject to change.
