It is with broken hearts today that the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC) reports the death of one of its members and administrative stafF. Ryan Nunez, SFGMC's Administrative Coordinator and baritone singer, passed away during intermission of Friday night's performance of "Paradise Found" at the Herbst Theatre. Nunez was 39 years old.

Artistic Director Dr. Timothy Seelig writes, "We have suffered one of the most profound tragedies and losses one can imagine. Ryan was our voice to the world - filled with humor and huge hugs for all, he took care of everyone."

"No one loved SFGMC more than Ryan," comments Chris Verdugo, Executive Director. "It literally changed his life - as knowing him has changed all of ours. We miss him immensely, but our brotherhood has been made more full, more rich and vibrant knowing Ryan."

"Ryan was the heart and the soul of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, and all of our lives were made more full of live and spirit by knowing him," writes Peter Zimmerman, SFGMC spokesperson. "We offer the last two shows of 'Paradise Found' in his honor, and will continue to honor his kindness and grace in all our future performances."

Memorial service details are forthcoming. SFGMC will publish these details on its website http://www.sfgmc.org/
