Broadway actor Ryan Link is set to join the touring cast of HAIR, playing Woof, a role he previously understudied in the 2009 revival's Broadway run at the Hirschfeld Theater.

Link was last heard on Broadway in the vocal ensemble of WONDERLAND at the Marquis Theater earlier this year, where he also understudied the White Knight and White Rabbit roles.

"I'm happy to be coming around full circle with the Tribe, and letting the HAIR grow again - although it'll have to grow fast if I want to avoid getting wigged for this run," said the actor.

The HAIR tour is booked through the end of January 2012, with stops in San Francisco (Oct. 25 - Nov. 20), Toronto (Dec. 13-31), Philadelphia (Jan. 3-8, 2012), West Palm Beach (Jan. 10-15, 2012) and Cleveland (Jan 17-29, 2012).

Link begins full-time performances November 8, 2011, halfway through the San Francisco run.

Ryan Link made his Broadway debut in 2003 as Roger in RENT, after a year on the national tour of Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA as the Radames standby.

More recently, at the O'Neill Theater Center's 2011 National Music Theater Conference, Link work-shopped the Don Chaffer and Chris Cragin Day musical SON OF A GUN, in the narrative actor/musician role of Cowboy Jesus.

He has also been involved as an actor/musician with upcoming works-in-progress CLEAR, by Paul Oakley Stovall, and THE WATER DREAM, by Shawn Cody.

The revival of HAIR opened March 31, 2009 at the Hirschfeld Theater; at that time, Link was a swing and understudy for the roles of Berger and Woof. For more about the touring company, please visit www.hairontour.com.
