The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation presents COMEDY KABARET: 2 (gay) Comics and a Diva, featuring Eddie Sarfaty, Scott Nevins and Connie Champagne.

Comedy Kabaret comes to the Rrazz Room in Hotel Nikko on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 8:00 pm, and benefits the Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation.

REAF is proud to present a new comedy benefit show featuring 2 outstanding comedians, Eddie Sarfaty and Scott Nevins, and one of San Francisco's favorite cabaret performers, Connie Champagne, in an evening of comedy and musical comedy.

Comedian and writer Eddie Sarfaty has appeared on "The Today Show," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," Logo's "Wisecrack," and can currently be seen in the documentary, "Laughing Matters...The Men." He has been featured at numerous comedy festivals including the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and The Toyota Comedy Festival in NY. He performs regularly at major comedy clubs in NYC including Caroline's, Gotham Comedy Club, and Stand-Up New York, and usually spends his summers entertaining audiences in Provincetown. Eddie is the newest member of the groundbreaking troupe Funny Gay Males and has been a featured performer for Atlantis Cruises and RSVP Vacations. Eddie's first book, a collection of humorous essays entitled "Mental: funny in the head" has just been released and Eddie will be signing books after the show.

Scott Nevins is an award-winning Host, TV/Radio personality, Comedian & Celebrity Interviewer who's been a staple on the East Coast comedy scene and more recently making his mark on the West Coast. Scott has appeared on TV on the Style Network ("Relationship Rehab"), QTV, Logo, Fuse TV, and MNN TV as host of "Out At The Center." He headlined his own show at Carolines on B'way., and Hosted/Produced the widely popular talent contest "XL Star" at XL lounge in NYC. Scott won raves for his debut solo comedy show "Celebutant: Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?" As an actor, Scott appeared as a special guest star in the Off-B'way. hit "Tony N Tina's Wedding." Scott currently hosts the weekly Monday Night theater-fest "Scott Nevins' Curtain Call" at Splash bar's Musical Mondays in NYC, featuring a new B'way. guest star each week. Scott has proudly donated his talents to over 100 benefits, hosting shows for such wonderful organizations as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, The Point Foundation, PFLAG, The Matthew Sheppard Foundation, God's Love We Deliver and many more.

CONNIE CHAMPAGNE was the winner of the SF Weekly Award for Outstanding Cabaret Performer for her work in Connie Champagne and her Tiny Bubbles. She is also the recipient of LA's Ovation AwardTM for Best Actress in a Musical, and the Dean Goodman Award for Outstanding Cabaret show. She will be appearing next in The Cockettes' Pearls Over Shanghai at the Hypnodrome on September 19 & 20, and then at 42nd Street Moon's Destry Rides Again, appearing in Marlene Dietrich's iconic role "Frenchy," opening in 10/09. Most recently she starred in New Conservatory Theater Center's summer cabaret romp Songs To Make You Gay! Connie is also a "Help is on the Way" alum.
