Don't let the title fool you, in the hysterically clean Urinetown, The Musical, Les Miz, Fiddler on the Roof, and even West Side Story gets spoofed in this Tony Award winning, socially aware comedy that takes on corporate greed and environmental responsibility while spoofing some of Broadway's biggest hits.

Set in a not-so-distant future in which water is in short supply-and city residents must pay to use restrooms-a young bathroom attendant decides to challenge authority and free the toilets! As clean as a newly scrubbed toilet, and as fresh-and hilariously original-as any musical you've ever seen.

For tickets ($22 for previews, $22-$40 for regular performances) or more information, the public may call (510) 845-8542 x351 or visit berkeleyplayhouse.org. Group rates available for 10 or more people.
