Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier community theatre company, celebrates this holiday season with Irving Berlin's Tony Award nominated musical, White Christmas. In White Christmas, veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, a successful song-and-dance duo, follow a pair of beautiful singing sister's en-route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge. When they discover their former commander is the owner, and could use their help, the quartet put on a show that make sparks fly as the snow falls. Nominated for the 2007 Tony Award for Best Original Orchestration and based on the Paramount Pictures film written for the screen by Norman Krasana, Norman Panama, and Melvin Frank and the book by David Ives and Paul Black, White Christmas is a touching holiday standard that promises to be a merry and bright theatrical experience for the entire family. Irving Berlin's White Christmas will run tonight, December 4 - 21, 2014 at Hillbarn Theatre (1285 East Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City). Performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Press night for White Christmas will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014. White Christmas features a cast of 19 actors led by Jim Ambler * as Phil Davis and Pierce Peter Brandt* as Bob Wallace. Joining them are Ken Brill, Alyson Chilton, Janice Engelgau, Amanda Farbstein, Bob Fitzgerald, Jackson Foster, Paul Guyer, Dylan Harris, Greg Lynch, Emily Mannion, Claudia McCarley, Michelle McComb, Ron Munekawa, Noelani Neal, Alexandra Nemchik, Jon Nowakowski, Melissa O'Keefe and Devin Smith.

The creative team for White Christmas, led by director Virginia Musante, includes music director Tracy Chiappone, choreographer Gennine Harrington, scenic designer Kuo-Hao Lo, lighting designer Don Coluzzi, costume designer Kate Schroeder, stage manager Amanda Roccuzzo and properties designer Rosie Issel.
