One evening in the Hotel Burlesque, at some unknown time, a group of strange and unlikely characters come together. The Bartender, struggling to triumph over her love affair with alcohol; the Battered Woman, struggling to take back control; and the Con Artist looking for an opportunity. In a place where magic is possible and history is unavoidable, each character must find not only themselves but a murderer- before they all become characters in a ghost story.
"Hotel Burlesque" is the third play by co-creators Red Velvet and Amanda Ortmayer that fuses burlesque and theater to create a new character driven burlesque theater art form, complete with spectacular dance numbers, elegant songs, epic chase scenes, and buckets of sparkly wonder.
