Dragon Productions Theatre presents the Tony-nominated play, THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED, written by Douglas Carter Beane (XANADU, SISTER ACT) and directed by Dale Albright, running from tonight, September 14th – October 7th, 2012 and featuring William Giammona, Jennifer Lucas, Maria Giere Marquis, and Henry Robert Nolin.

Follow the adventures of Mitchell Green, a movie star who could hit it big if it weren't for one teensy-weensy problem - his agent, Diane, can't seem to keep him in the closet. Will there be a happy ending as the final credits roll?

When New York playwright Douglas Carter Beane got the news that his first screenplay, "Too Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar" (1995), had been sold, he was earning a living as a baby-sitter for friends. Now a multiple Tony award nominee, Beane has written the scripts for AS BEES IN HONEY DROWN (1998 Drama Desk Nominee), THE COUNTRY CLUB, and the book for the musicals XANADU (2008 Drama Desk winner, 2008 Tony nominee), SISTER ACT (2011 Tony nominee), and LYSISTRATA JONES (2102 Drama Desk and Tony nominee). THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED was nominated for several Tonys, incuding Best Play. Actress Julie White won the Best Actress In a Play Tony for her portrayal of Diane; Johnny Galecki won the 2007 Theatre World award for his portrayal of Alex.
