After many years Brava! For Women in the arts presents it's first musical. D'Arcy Drollinger's darkly comedic rock satire, Scalpel!, will have it's world premiere on March 31st, 2010 and will run through April 17th. The organization is excited to produce such an ambitious project in its second year under a new artistic director, Raelle Myrick-Hodges. Scalpel! is written and directed by D'Arcy Drollinger with Music Direction by Scrumbly Koldewyn (The Cockettes, Angels of Light).
Workshopped in New York as part of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop and then in the New York Fringe Festival, Scalpel! finds it's home for the World Premiere in Brava.
