THE MIDTOWN MEN and SPAMALOT Among Moonlight Amphitheatre's 2014 Summer Season Special Events
Two special events have been announced for this summer at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. The Moonlight Cultural Foundation will present THE MIDTOWN MEN in a special concert performance on Sat., July 5. THE MIDTOWN MEN features four of the original cast members of The Jersey Boys in concert showcasing favorite hits of the 1960s. In advance of Moonlight Stage Productions' MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT this summer, the theatre will present a free screening of the hit movie the musical is based on: MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL. The film will be shown on a large screen on the Moonlight stage.
Featuring four stars from the original Broadway production, Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer, the MIDTOWN MEN presents an electrifying and soulful concert of great Sixties hits including songs from The Beatles, The Rascals, Motown, The Four Seasons and more. This concert is a special fund-raising event benefiting the Moonlight Cultural Foundation, the non-profit arm of Moonlight Stage Productions. The Foundation raises funds in support of Moonlight Stage Productions and also offers its own programs benefiting the community including military and educational outreach. This concert is not a performance of, not affiliated with the show Jersey Boys.
