Two special events have been announced for this summer at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. The Moonlight Cultural Foundation will present THE MIDTOWN MEN in a special concert performance on Sat., July 5. THE MIDTOWN MEN features four of the original cast members of The Jersey Boys in concert showcasing favorite hits of the 1960s. In advance of Moonlight Stage Productions' MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT this summer, the theatre will present a free screening of the hit movie the musical is based on: MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL. The film will be shown on a large screen on the Moonlight stage.

MIDTOWN MEN

Featuring four stars from the original Broadway production, Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer, the MIDTOWN MEN presents an electrifying and soulful concert of great Sixties hits including songs from The Beatles, The Rascals, Motown, The Four Seasons and more. This concert is a special fund-raising event benefiting the Moonlight Cultural Foundation, the non-profit arm of Moonlight Stage Productions. The Foundation raises funds in support of Moonlight Stage Productions and also offers its own programs benefiting the community including military and educational outreach. This concert is not a performance of, not affiliated with the show Jersey Boys.

MIDTOWN MEN TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets are priced $35 for lawn, $45 for reserved and $65 for orchestra. Tickets go on sale Sat., March 22 at Noon at the VisTix ticket office, by phone at 760.724.2110, and online at vistixonline.com.

MIDTOWN MEN VIP EXPERIENCE

The Midtown Men VIP experience includes a pre-concert dinner, table seating, gifts and a meet and greet with the performers. Tables of eight start at $2000. Call 760.630.7650 for information.

MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL

To get in the mood for Moonlight's Summer Season production of SPAMALOT, the theatre will offer a free screening of MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL the hit movie the musical is based on. The movie will be projected onto a large screen on the Moonlight stage. The 1975 British film comedy stars Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin and is directed by Gilliam and Jones. The 91-minute movie parodies the legend of King Arthur's quest to find the Holy Grail. The screening is free and begins at 8:30 pm on Fri., May 23. The movie is rated PG.

Please note that for these events, outside food is not permitted into the Amphitheatre. Food and beverage may be purchased at the Moonlight from the Artisan Café.
