Cultural holidays Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos come together as Amigos del REP performs "Historias Tenebrosas" in a thrilling, chilling multi-staged reader's theatre storytelling event fun for the entire family. Wander through a maze of myth and folklore as you are guided from stage to stage for each of the evening's hair-raising stories. Gasp, shriek and laugh with haunting delight as bedtime stories and old wives tales are brought to life before your very eyes.

Chocolate con pan dulce and a ghastly amount of candy and face painting will be available for trick-or-treaters along the way. Look into your future or visit the beyond in a personal reading with, "The Psychic Sisters." A thrilling time and haunting surprises await the entire family at San Diego REP, on Monday, Nov. 2 in the Lyceum Space. This performance is FREE and open to the public.

"Amigos del REP is thrilled to bring this new and exciting multi-cultural event to the families and theatre community of San Diego," says Dave Rivas, producer and event organizer, Amigos Del Rep producer. "We are grateful to have the support of our loyal audiences as well as San Diego REPertory Theatre. This year, Historias Tenebrosas is featured as part of San Diego REP's 40th anniversary season. We hope to return again and again, year after year, to bring this unique family-friendly mash-up of Halloween and Dia de los Muertos to all!"
