Former Santa Cruz Fringe Festival Producer/Director reveals all in her stand-up show about a midlife crisis turned upside down, stumbling through topics like weight loss, shaving, masturbation and internet dating. Spoiler alert: the show is ultimately about personal transformation and finding love.

Dixie has been performing her whole life. Here is a sample: At age 3, she performed for the first time in a high school musical, which included her first and only stage kiss. At age 16, she was crowned Miss Majorette of America. At age 18, she got to perform with James Brown at a Hall of Fame Bowl halftime show. At ages 26, 29, 31 and 35, she created the 25-woman dance-theater spectacle, The Thinnest Woman with the Fewest Wrinkles Wins in Boulder, Seattle and New York City. At age 36, she danced 6 months pregnant and naked on a raked stage in Italy. At age 41, she had her 3rd child and moved to Santa Cruz. At age 44, she performed in a 70-pound fat suit that actually weighed 70 pounds. At age 47, she jumped into stand-up with the first version of this one-hour show
