THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce the drawing ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins AUGUST 1ST at the ECCLES THEATER in SALT LAKE CITY and plays a limited three-week engagement through AUGUST 20TH. In SALT LAKE CITY, the production will conduct a pre-show drawing at the box office, making 25 tickets available at $25 apiece. The lineup and drawing will be held on Regent Street near the Regent Street Black Box ticket office entrance. Whether it's the powerful marches from "Star Wars," the awe-inspiring score from "Jurassic Park," or the adventurous music from "E.T.", John Williams' film music has provided the soundscape for many of the world's most popular movies for decades. Sundance Institute's Theatre Lab kicks off today with the announcement of this year's participating acting company and creative advisors. The Lab, which runs through July 30 at the Sundance Resort in Utah, is supervised by Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, and is the centerpiece of the Institute's year-round work with the theatre community. It's one of 24 residency Labs the Institute hosts each year for independent artists in theatre, film, new media and episodic content. (more...)
