ROSE EXPOSED, celebrating its fifth anniversary on August 27, is created each year by the Performing Arts Coalition to expose the community to the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.

ROSE EXPOSED brings audience and artists together to support our community, with 100% of ticket sales benefiting a local non-profit.

Each year ROSE EXPOSED features a short, themed work created that day by each of the Rose Wagner's resident companies: Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation, Plan-B Theatre Company, PYGmaLion Theatre Company, Repertory Dance Theatre, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company and SB Dance.

In 2014, ROSE EXPOSED: HOME raised $5,000 for The Road Home. In 2015, ROSE EXPOSED: DREAMERS raised $5,000 for Art Access.

2016 brings ROSE EXPOSED: FLIGHT benefiting Tracy Aviary Saturday, August 27, 8pm
$15 (general admission). Tickets on sale this Friday, July 15 at 10am. Call 801.355.ARTS or visit roseexposed.org.

Tracy Aviary connects people to nature with numerous exhibits that allow guests to get nose-to- beak with birds from diverse environments, local and afar. The newly opened Treasures of the Rainforest exhibit is a large, indoor free-flight aviary where more than two dozen tropical birds fly among hundreds of plants creating a jungle experience in the heart of Salt Lake. The wetlands experience allows guest to wander a boardwalk, shared by black-necked stilts, over open water while white-faced ibis, coots and other native birds search for grubs. Tracy Aviary boasts numerous new exhibits, an amazing bird show, and a landscape that combine to deliver the organization's mission. Recognizing that not all citizens can make it to Tracy Aviary, they are expanding into the community with citizen science and Nature in the City programs. Citizen science relies on volunteers to help collect data that is used to assist land managers make wise decisions. Nature in the City helps residents better understand the nature that exists in their community by offering experiential educational activities in parks and open spaces throughout the valley.
