Repertory Dance Theatre is proud to welcome back Plan-B Theatre Company on the 20th anniversary season of RDT's Ring Around the Rose on October 14, 2017 at 11 am.

Plan-B Theatre will present RIVER.SWAMP.CAVE.MOUNTAIN. by Elaine Jarvik. In this timely play, five-year-old JJ (who has lots of questions) and eight-year-old Izzy (a know-it-all who doesn't know it all) are siblings who have recently lost their grandmother. They embark on a funny and touching hero's journey to try to make sense of loss, grief, death and life.

The show features actors Ashley Maria Ramos and Benjamin Young, is designed by Aaron Swenson, and is directed by Cheryl Ann Cluff.

RIVER.SWAMP.CAVE.MOUNTAIN. explores the topic of grief with humor and heart. The characters of JJ and Izzy invite the audience along on their hero's journey, one that ultimately leads to greater understanding of their grandmother's death.

After the performance, audience members will be invited to ask questions to the performers about the show and about acting in general.

The Ring Around the Rose performance will kick off Plan-B Theatre Company's free elementary school tour. For the past five years, Plan-B has provided a free assembly for schools across Utah each year. See a list of all performances here>>

RDT is thrilled to showcase these talented actors through the Ring Around the Rose series and give audiences the opportunity to experience this entertaining and thought-provoking show in an interactive and wiggle-friendly way.
