Vox Lumiere's hi-decibel show brings together original, rockin' live music, dance and classic, silent film. As the 1924 film, "Peter Pan," fills the screen, a theatrical rock concert takes center stage. Vox Lumiere - Peter Pan lets imaginations soar at the Eccles Center on Saturday, March 23. The magic begins at 7:30 p.m.

Created by Kevin Saunders Hayes (a classically trained musician/product of London's rock scene/composer), Vox Lumiere needs no fairy dust to sparkle on stage. The company takes gentle liberties with the "Peter Pan" tale, allowing twists and interpretation as on-stage performers sing the feelings of the silent characters on screen. From Tinkerbell (a tough little fairy) and Captain Hook to The Lost Boys and a hilarious, belching croc, the live performers take on the classic roles with riveting talent. And so, a delightful classic transforms into a cutting-edge, magical journey.

Vox Lumiere has toured the world with several shows and been nominated for multiple Grammy awards. The cast features powerful vocalists and musicians, remarkable entertainers, a thoroughly original score, gorgeous technical wizardry, which blend to create a spellbinding, multi-disciplined showcase of the arts.

The Los Angeles Times calls Vox Lumiere "Absolutely riveting!" and The Dallas Morning News describes the show as "A multidimensional blast of visual and auditory splendor!"

"This show is unlike anything that's ever graced our stage. It's film. It's Grammy-caliber rock concert. It's technically incredible. It's the kind of show that thoroughly entertains while allowing clever and delightful escape," says PCPAF executive director Teri Orr. "We're all a little like Peter Pan in Park City. I couldn't dream up a better way to celebrate the child - that doesn't really want to grow up - in each of us."

In addition to the March 23 main stage show, ox Lumiere is slated to participate in PCPAF's Student Outreach Program.
