Peter and the Starcatcher, the multi Tony Award- winning musical play written by Tony Award-nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, will bring its magic to Harris Center for the Arts in Folsom as a stop on its first National Tour.

Peter and the Starcatcher, a grown up's prequel to Peter Pan, is the most magical evening/afternoon of madcap fun. Hailed by the New York Times as "the most exhilarating storytelling on Broadway in decades," this musical play takes a hilarious romp through the Neverland you never knew. The show won five 2012 Tony Awards (the most of any play of the 2011-2012 season); the Philadelphia Inquirer praises it as "Fantastical and Enchanting."

Peter and the Starcatcher will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 7:30 pm (Sign Interpreted Performance), and Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets are priced at $45-$65; Premium $75. Tickets are available online at www.harriscenter.net or from Harris Center Ticket Office at 916-608-6888 from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, CA, facing East Bidwell Street.

Peter and the Starcatcher is the innovative and imaginative musical play based on the best-selling novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. A company of a dozen actors play more than a hundred unforgettable characters, all on a journey to answer the century-old question: How did Peter Pan become The Boy Who Never Grew Up? This swashbuckling prequel to Peter Pan will have you hooked from the moment you let your imagination take flight.

The design team of Peter and the Starcatcher includes Donyale Werle (Scenic Design), Paloma Young (Costume Design), Jeff Croiter (Lighting Design), Darron L West (Sound Design), all who won Tony Awards for their work on the show, along with Steven Hoggett (Movement), Wayne Barker (Music), Jacob Grigolia?Rosenbaum (Fight Direction) and Marco Paguia (Music Supervision).

Peter and the Starcatcher is produced by Nancy Nagel Gibbs, Greg Schaffert, Eva Price, Tom Smedes and Disney Theatrical Productions.
