Now A Folsom Tradition AN IRISH CHRISTMAS Returns for Three Performances

As seen on PBS- and on Stage One of the Harris Center, where the show has become an established part of the holiday season in Folsom-An Irish Christmas returns for three shows November 25 & 26. This celebration of Christmas in Ireland offers superb music-making, an award-winning cast of Irish dancers and a night that sparkles with life, dance and the singing of Christmas carols.

An Irish Christmas will perform at Harris Center on Friday, Nov 25, 2016 at 7 pm and Saturday, Nov 26, 2016 at 2 pm and again at 7 pm. Tickets are on sale $19-$39; Premium $49. Tickets for children 12 and under are $19. Tickets are available online at www.harriscenter.net or from Harris Center Ticket Office at 916-608-6888 from noon to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time.

Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, CA, facing East Bidwell Street. Harris Center will be collecting toys in the lobby to benefit the Sacramento's Christmas Lights for Underprivileged Children program, which gathers gifts to provide a positive holiday experience for disadvantaged children in the region.

With a cast of 17 musicians and dancers, this year's performances will feature World Champion Irish Dancers Scott Doherty and Tyler Schwartz-"two of the greatest dancers in the modern world of Irish dance" (Kerry Records). Scott has toured the world with both Riverdanceand Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance. He was invited to perform the lead role in Gaelforce Dance for their 2012/2013 tours of Europe and Asia and now leads his own show Rockin' Road to Dublin. Tyler the 2013 World Dance Champion has been principal lead dancer for Magic of the Dance, Trinity Irish Dance Company, Gaelforce Dance, and most recently for Busch Gardens "Celtic Fyre."

An Irish Christmasfeatures an award-winning cast of Irish dancers in a memorable night of family entertainment that sparkles with the charm and magic that only this festive time of year can bring.

The Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College brings the community together to share in cultural experiences featuring the work of artists from throughout the region and around the world. Built and operated by the Los Rios Community College District, the $50 million, state-of-the-art regional performing arts center boasts three intimate venues with outstanding acoustics, an art gallery, a recording studio, elegant teaching spaces, plenty of safe parking and all the other amenities of a world-class performing arts venue. Each year the Center hosts over 400 events attracting more than 150,000 annually.
