NOW HEAR THIS: A Story & Music Performance Series presents an evening of dynamic short stories, read by actors, set to original music, and played live. It will be presented by Atim Udoffia at the Sacramento Poetry Center, 1719 25th Street, 25th and R Complex, Sacramento, 95816 on Saturday, July 23, 2016.

NOW HEAR THIS is a quarterly series that brings together exciting writers, seasoned actors and skilled musicians who turn literature into a stimulating performance.

The July summer show features two fantastic authors, including Sacramento fiction writer Tigh Rickman. Actor Jimmy Sidhu will read Rickman's story "Irene." Novelist and short story writer Teresa Milbrodt is the second featured author of the evening. Actor Elise Hodge will read Milbrodt's story "The Mirror."

The audience will also enjoy a special performance by Electropoetic Coffee.

"Guitarist Ross Hammond and Poet NSAA come together to bring a unique listening experience." Music by Clifford Childers.

Show is appropriate for ages teen and above. NOW HEAR THIS takes place on Saturday, July 23rd at 8pm at the Sacramento Poetry Center (1719 25th Street, 25th and R Complex, Sacramento, 95816). Doors open at 7:30pm. Suggested donation of $15 at the door. Cash only.
