Once Upon A Pastime is a classic-styled musical about fame, failure and family set in the world of America's favorite pastime - baseball - where curveballs reign and the Gods know all.

With music and lyrics by Terry Cashman of Talkin' Baseball fame, Once Upon A Pastime portrays the life of Mac McCarty, a one-time great baseball prospect, from the early loss of his father to his own trials filling that role with his daughter, Sandy. Following a career-ending injury, Mac and his childhood friend, Shep, open The Bullpen, a baseball-themed bar in Florida. They struggle but survive until a mysterious and menacing character, T.C. Raymond, ignites a series of events threatening their very existence. However, the Baseball Gods of Mac's imagination have been watching over him for a long time. Mayhem ensues when the Gods materialize and try to help Mac avert disaster

Once Upon A Pastime has music and lyrics by Terry Cashman and book by Laura Fieber with contributions by Larry Atlas, Terry Cashman, Jim Glossman and Lee Schreiber.

Producer Armand Paganelli, of Ossining, is thrilled to bring this fresh new piece of musical theatre to Westchester. "We've compiled a great team of creative talent from Broadway and our local community," he notes, including Joe Langworth as director and Joe Baker as musical director. Set design is by Gabriel Firestone, lighting design is by Jamie Roderick, and sound design is by Scott Tunkel. Mr. Paganelli brings a long history with the Actors Conservatory Theater of Westchester.
