Broadway Training Center of Westchester (BTC) has announce the Westchester Premiere of the musical BIG FISH with book by John August and Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, BIG FISH centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest and then some Edward's incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him - most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father's epic tales. Overflowing with heart, humor and spectacular stagecraft, BIG FISH is an extraordinary new Broadway musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre - for an experience that's richer, funnier and BIGGER than life itself.

The musical will be presented on November 21, 22, and 23 at the Irvington Town Hall Theater in Irvington, NY where BTC is an arts partner. The BTC Ensemble, comprised of teens from Westchester County, will perform this magical musical that is perfect for the entire family.

"We're delighted to be partnering with Broadway Motion Design on Big Fish, which has selected BTC as the host theater for developing the projection design of the show," says director Jason Brantman. "BMD is designing lush backdrops and animations for Big Fish, which is an exciting and innovative way of accomplishing the elements of magic and larger than life storytelling that are the backbone of this beautiful theater piece."

Broadway Training Center of Westchester, under the artistic direction of Jason Brantman and Fiona Santos, was recently awarded Best Theatre Classes in Southern Westchester by Westchester Magazine. This premiere performing arts school, located in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, provides children, teens, and adults with Broadway oriented performing arts training focusing on the joy of accomplishment and the enrichment of personal expression through classroom and performance work. Broadway Training Center of Westchester is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Celebrating our 23rd anniversary this year!

"We couldn't be more thrilled to be presenting the Westchester Premiere of Big Fish," says co-director/music director Fiona Santos. "We're especially excited to be producing the show with a great range of ages - from 10 to 18. It's wonderful to work with young actors on a very new show that is passionate and exciting, and also family friendly."

Irvington Town Hall Theater is located at 85 Main Street, Irvington, NY 10533.
