The nation's top tribute to Steely Dan will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Courthouse Center for the Arts in South Kingstown tonight, September 20th. Hey Nineteen is based in RI and has been filling venues throughout Southern New England for the past year.

They hope to do the same at CCFA for the sake of quality art, live music and theater in South Kingstown. A successful show on September 20th means a solid budget for CCFA to bring in nationally known artists on a consistent basis. Hey Nineteen believes it is very important for people of all ages to get off the couch, out of the virtual world and into the real world where "we can see music and theater as it occurs and feel the energy of the emotion used to generate it!" With this in mind, Hey Nineteen will be bringing the entirety of Aja, arguably Steely Dan's greatest masterpiece of music as well as other hits as well as some of the deeper tracks!

Hey Nineteen, an 11 piece group, has stunned audiences throughout New England with their spot on performances of Steely Dan's masterful arrangements, vocals and solos. Unlike other tributes, Hey Nineteen dials up the precise sounds, exact notes, and lush harmonies that were originally used on the original Steely Dan recordings. Along with their exacting musicality and groove they bring showmanship that will keep your eyes wide open and excite your soul. The group consists of -3 Horns: Sax, Trumpet and Trombone, 3 Female Vocalists, Keyboards, 2 Guitars, Bass and Drums.

Ticket prices : $20.00 at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/832177. Show begins at 7:30pm, Saturday, September 20th. For more about the band, visit www.hey19band.com.
