Empire Revue to Present New Year's Eve Event at AS220

This New Year's Eve, the Empire Revue is producing a variety of acts at AS220, 115 Empire St. in downtown Providence. The day is split into two parts, featuring family friendly shows starting at 1pm in the black box theater at AS220 and a sketch comedy variety show followed by a dance party with the Superchief Trio starting at 9pm in the main performance space.

The day time event features performances by award winning musicians and storytellers Bill Harley and Keith Munslow, Create-a-Comic with Eric Fulford, and the Manton Avenue Project. Day time tickets are $5 and can be used for any or all portions of the day event.

The night time event features a New Year's Eve edition of the Empire Revue, a sketch comedy variety show, followed by a dance party with live music from Superchief Trio. Night tickets are $15.

The Empire Revue is a once monthly sketch comedy show that performs the first Sunday of every month at AS220. Taking a page from Vaudeville, the Revue features local guest acts including musicians, stand-up comedians, burlesque dancers, magicians and more in addition to original sketch comedy.
