Topdog/Underdog is a biting exploration of broken families and sibling rivalry. The play tells the story of Lincoln and Booth, two brothers whose names were given to them as a joke, foretelling a lifetime of co-dependency and resentment. Haunted by the past, the brothers are forced to confront the shattering reality of their future. This brutally honest tale of poverty and alienation was awarded the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for a distinguished play by an American author. It is widely regarded as playwright Suzan-Lori Parks' most important work.

Directed by Ted Clement, the play features actor/playwright David Valentin as Lincoln and spoken word artist Rudy Rudacious as Booth. The show will be performed at AS220's Blackbox Theatre at 95 Empire Street, Providence, RI.
