PPAC Receives Tony Award at 2014-15 Season Announcement Event
Producer of KINKY BOOTS, Hal Luftig, presented the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) with the Tony Award for 2013 Best Musical during PPAC's 2014/2015 season announcement today. PPAC President J.L. "Lynn" Singleton accepted the award on behalf of the Theatre.

Mr. Luftig said, "I am delighted to present this Tony Award for Best Musical to PPAC, one of my producing partners of KINKY BOOTS. This is the highest recognition of the theatrical world. PPAC is a prestigious, world-renowned theatre, and I am thrilled that KINKY BOOTS will be here in June 2015!"
Mr. Singleton said, "I am glad I stuck around long enough to receive this award! All kidding aside, I am pleased that as a member of IPN, we could bring KINKY BOOTS to fruition. It is a great honor to receive this award, and we thank you for this recognition, and thank you, Hal, for taking the time to present the Tony to PPAC in person."
KINKY BOOTS is a part of the 2014/2015 Taco/The White Family Foundation Broadway Series, and will play at PPAC June 9 - 14, 2015.
