OSTC to Host I DREAMED A DREAM Fundraising Event, 9/28
Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), which will be launching its first full season in its new state-of-the-Art Theatre in Warwick this October, will host a "Premiere" Fundraising Event, I Dreamed a Dream, on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
Join OSTC for a One-Night-Only Red Carpet Premiere Event to benefit their Live Music Initiative. The evening will feature food, drink, live and silent auctions, an exclusive sneak peek of the Rhode Island Regional Theatre Premiere of "the world's most popular musical," LES MISERABLES, which will kick off the company's 2013-14 season, and dessert and coffee with the cast.
"Attendees will be treated to a truly wonderful and special evening," said Amiee Turner, CEO of Ocean State Theatre Company. "The evening will consist of sumptuous food from great local restaurants like L'Attitude, Libations, and 1149, a wide variety of auction items, including the chance to bid for a walk-on role in a future production, and highlights from our upcoming production of LES MISERABLES, performed by our extraordinarily talented cast."

The proceeds from I Dreamed a Dream will benefit Ocean State Theatre Company's Live Music Initiative, which was established in 2008 in order to support the tradition of professional musicians playing live during all musical theatre performances.
"Our patrons love that OSTC produces musicals throughout the year and this commitment to utilizing professional musicians costs about $80,000 annually. Our goal is to raise 25% of that cost from this kick-off event," explains OSTC Board Chair Anthony Miccolis.
I Dreamed a Dream will take place at Ocean State Theatre on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Festivities begin at 6:30 pm. The theatre is located at1245 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick, RI. Individual tickets are $125, patron sponsorships are available for $500, and reserved tables of 10 are available for $1000. All tickets include food, wine and beer, live and silent auctions, the sneak peek performance, and dessert and coffee.
