Counter-Productions Theatre Company invites you to join them for The Final Voyage of X Minus One, a final voyage into time and space. They will present this program of live science fiction theatre at AS220's Blackbox at 95 Empire Street in Providence. These space faring adventures will run November 11th to November 20th.

"From the far horizons of the unknown come transcribed tales of new dimensions in time and space. These are stories of the future; adventures in which you'll live in a million could-be years on a thousand may-be worlds." These are the opening words of the classic, radio-era, science fiction extravaganza that was X Minus One. Combining new works and adaptations, this program was the launching pad for many of the most notable authors in the genre, including Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, and Phillip K. Dick.

Since their second season, Counter-Productions has been staging live theatrical adaptations of these tales from the golden age of science fiction every other year. As a way to celebrate their tenth year in existence, they will bid farewell to the tradition with a collection of their greatest "X Minus One" hits over the past decade. The production is directed by Rufus Qristofer Teixeira, director of the 2014 Motif Winner for Best Semi-Professional Production, Counter-Productions' Picasso at the Lapin Agile.

"I'm honored and thrilled to be directing Counter-Productions' final installment of their epic X Minus One anthology," said Teixeira.
