In 1980, the Bascov family gathers with relatives and friends in their sprawling Central Park West apartment to celebrate the holidays and the accomplishments of the son they assume will one day become President of the U.S. By the year 2000, they find that fate doesn’t always play by the rules and that their lives and family look much different than they had planned.
