From the award-winning composers of Ragtime comes a highly original and theatrical Caribbean adaptation of the popular fairy tale The Little Mermaid. Once on This Island tells the story of a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with a wealthy boy from the other side of her island. This tale of romance, tragedy, redemption, and rebirth features an astounding score, a live orchestra, and captivating choreography set to an irresistible Calypso beat.
