For Immediate Release:

Subject: Local actors to bring The Chicago Haymarket Riot to life

In commemoration of the 130th year anniversary, Chicago actors, BEN DAVID GARZA and ERIC J. COLEMAN, and DAVID MCGRATH, will be bringing to life an original theatrical performance of the events of the 1880s here in Chicago.

As we approach the Second Gilded Age, this revolutionary interactive period piece couldn’t be more timely today. With the support of many talented local actors, this important chapter in the story of labor and the struggle for the eight-hour workday will be brought to life.

Performances:
April 30, May 4 (the anniversary of the event), May 7, May 14, May 21, & May 28th at 8:00pm.

All performances will be at the Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N Knox Ave., Chicago.

David M. Hartley as Albert Parsons
Tonya Simmons as Lucy Waller Parsons
Ric Morgan as Marshall Field
and
Asta Razma as Nannie Field
