Hunt Holman’s The Kidney, presented by Broken Watch Theatre Company, began its run on June 3rd and was originally slated to close on June 20th will be extended through Saturday, June 26th at the Sandi Shurin Theatre (311 West 43rd Street, 6th Floor) the new home of Broken Watch Theatre Company.
The Kidney is a hilarious comedy that explores the trials and tribulations of friendships during a time of crisis. Mark desperately needs a new kidney. His friends gather to offer their love, their support and their organs - a “friendly” competition sets the stage for Hunt Holman’s The Kidney. … with friends like these perhaps Mark is better off on dialysis.
Hunt Holman’s (playwright) play Spanish Girl premiered off-Broadway at Second Stage Theater, as part of their New Plays Uptown Series. He has also co-authored the books for a musical version of Paramount Pictures' Save the Last Dance, and the upcoming Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Other plays include Gun Club, which premiered at Cherry Lane Alternative, and was subsequently produced by The Hypothetical Theater.
Cast includes: Stephen Brumble, Jr., Carey Crim, Teresa L. Goding, Andrew J. Hoff and Leo Lauer.
The Kidney will perform from June 3rd
