The Wyeth family Christmas erupts when daughter Brooke arrives bearing a soon-to-be-published memoir full of family secrets in Jon Robin Baitz's family drama. Other Desert Cities is both a funny and gripping drama from the creator of TV's Brothers & Sisters and was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. For Mature Audiences (due to adult language).

Single tickets are $22-$30 and are available at http://www.theatreraleigh.com.

"This show is one of the greatest, most exciting scripts I've read in recent memory and I could not be more thrilled and honored to have been given this opportunity," said Jesse Gephart, Director of Other Desert Cities.

Other Desert Cities is the story of a once promising novelist Brooke (Dana Marks), who returns home after a six year absence to celebrate Christmas in Palm Springs with her parents Polly (Maggie Rasnick) and Lyman (Mark Phialas), former leading Republicans, her brother Trip (Charlie Brady*) and her eccentric liberal aunt - Silda (Pamela Dunlap*). When the novelist announces she is about to publish a memoir focusing on an explosive chapter in the family's history, the holiday reunion is thrown into turmoil as the family struggles to come to terms with their past. In this family, secrets are everything.

Jesse Gephart (Director) makes his Theatre Raleigh directorial debut with Chris Bernier (Scenic/Lighting Designs), Mike McGee (Stage Manager), LeGrande Smith (Costume Design), Denise Schumaker (Props Mistress), and Will Mikes (Sound Design/Op).

Sarah Schikora (ASM), Allison Dellinger (Wardrobe), Kat Froehlich (Wardrobe Supervisor), Austin Keefe (Sound A2), Katy Koop (Props Assistant), Colson Dorafshar and Joshua Walker (Production Assistants), Lauren Kennedy (Artistic Director), and Michele Weathers (Managing Director) complete the crew.
