Theatre In The Park is producing a production of Shakespeare's ROMEO & JULIET as a special fundraiser for the theatre. Raleigh-born movie star Evan Rachel Wood (The Wrestler, Thirteen) as Juliet. 

The production will be directed by her brother, Ira David Wood IV. 

This limited run is currently scheduled for the Mid-May.  More information will be posted on Theatre In The Park's website as details are confirmed.

Audition information
is as follows:

Auditions will be held on February 24 & 25 from 7pm-until at Theatre In The Park. Please come prepared with a three-minute Shakespearean monologue. (Also, please bring your headshot and resume if available).

Contact Erin at Theatre In The Park (919-831-6936) to schedule your 5 minute time slot.  Walk-ins will be taken only if time permits.

We will be casting adults (18 and up) for all roles, except Juliet.  The role of Romeo is possibly open for a strong leading man.  This is a non-equity show.
