Out in the Vineyard, an experiential LGBT wine event and travel company based in Sonoma Valley, is pleased to announce it's partnership with Sonoma legendary icons, Williams-Sonoma and Chateau St. Jean Winery for Gay Wine Weekend's "Legendary Sonoma Winemaker Dinner" - a five course culinary adventure, hosted by Chateau St. Jean's award winning winemaker, Margo Van Staaveren at the site of Williams-Sonoma newly reopened heritage store, at their original location, which opened in 1956, just steps off the historic Sonoma Plaza.

"We are incredibly honored to have Chateau St. Jean and Williams-Sonoma join us to host this very special winemaker dinner at Gay Wine Weekend 2015. Growing up here in Sonoma County, I could have never imagined gays being so welcomed and accepted as we are today," says Out In The Vineyard co-founder, Mark Vogler. "Having these two legendary Sonoma Icons come together in support of the LGBT Community, to hosting a very intimate evening of wine and food at Williams-Sonoma's original location - steps from the location of the historic Bear Flag Revolt of 1846 and birthplace of California - is a testament to Sonoma Valley as a gay friendly destination in rural America."

The "Legendary Sonoma Winemaker Dinner" is the first time an LGBT group will be hosted at Williams-Sonoma "Heritage Store" and will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 7:30pm and feature a five course Chateau St. Jean wine paired dinner, prepared exclusively for Gay Wine Weekend guests at Williams-Sonoma's new culinary center in Sonoma. This very special evening is limited to only 17 guests, offering an incredibly unique opportunity to spend the evening with Chateau St. Jean's acclaimed winemaker, Margo Van Staaveren and her award winning wines. Chateau St. Jean was the first Sonoma Winery to receive Wine Spectator Magazine's "Wine of the Year" award for it's 1996 Cinq Cepages, 5 varietal Bordeaux-style blend.
