After a successful 6-week run of L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz, more than 200 hours of performances and an overall audience exceeding 5,000, Salem's nonprofit, professional musical theatre company announced their holiday production starting the day before Thanksgiving - a 3-week run of Plaid Tidings, the Christmas special of the original classic Forever Plaid.

According to Music Theatre International (MTI), in this newer show "the legendary Plaids return to Earth to spread yuletide joy with the greatest holiday hits of the ages." With a four-person cast and a rockin' combo, this holiday treat will revive an era of classic tunes sung in perfect harmony, from The Rockettes to The Chipmunks, The Vienna Boys Choir and more.

"We're thrilled to announce another alternative format in musical theatre production," stated Producing Artistic Director & Founder, Vincenzo Meduri. "Despite the size, this show will undoubtedly play a major role in lifting Salem's spirits this holiday season."

Individuals interested in attending or learning more about Plaid Tidings, audition opportunities and other Enlightened Theatrics productions and programs, are encouraged to contact the Enlightened Theatrics at 503.585.3427.
